Brad Kreidle is a man with years of experience in the finance world as well as a consummate family man with a variety of hobbies that take him outside to enjoy the beautiful scenery that his home state of Colorado has to offer. Along with working in finance and investing, Brad takes great pleasure in fly fishing as well as ice hockey. Brad actually builds and maintains a backyard hockey rink each year with his family that they use to both play hockey on as well as just skate around and enjoy the winter.
While Brad Kreidle is currently the founder and president of Mainline West LLC, he didn’t always start at such a high position. Brad actually began his career in finance in the 1980’s when he joined Stern Brothers, a regional municipal trading firm, as a municipal analyst. Brad realized the importance of computers early on in his career and quickly became a proponent of computing and using them to help increase efficiency and accuracy when it came to analysis. Brad was eventually placed in charge of the effort to computerize a cash and carry municipal arbitrage account. This worked so well that, while working for Seattle Northwest, Brad was in charge of implementing similar programs for all the major money managers, mutual funds, and insurance companies that he had dealings with.
After working for a variety of different firms, Brad Kreidle decided to start his own firm with a team of handpicked individuals and career professionals. He started Mainline West LLC as a firm with investments customized for individual high net worth investors. Mainline also constructs proprietary funds with a strategy that balances enhanced returns from municipal bonds with prudent risk management to drive investment decisions. Currently Mainline West in managing portfolios that exceed $650 million and as successfully deployed 2 currently functioning fund portfolios.
When not working in finance, you might find Brad Kreidle planning and constructing his yearly backyard hockey rink with his family and friends. Brad has been building these outdoor rinks for years because they not only allow him to play the sport he knows and loves, but also because he is able to play on something that he built with his own hands. This extra satisfaction that comes from using something you built adds all the more to the already fantastic experience that is ice hockey. Brad also uses the process of building the rink itself as a way to strengthen the bonds he has with his family and friends. As they skate and play hockey long into the winter night they can all be proud of the work that they did and enjoy its bounty together.
